"Great location, hotel nothing special"

Location is excellent. Solid breakfast and friendly staff. Hollum is my favorite town of Ameland, and this location is superb. Little walk into town, and within 15 minutes at the dunes and sea.

The property is very outdated, typical beginning of the 90's decor. So price wise it is ok, but nothing special. I do feel a big investment or renovation is needed to keep up.

"Schöne Insel, Hotel nach fast vierzig Jahren keine 4 Sterne wert"

Ameland ist eine schöne Insel

Hotel altes Mobiliar und schmutzig überall Kein Personal beim Frühstück zu sehen...keine Abwechslung, kein Obstsalat...habe notgedrungen vom Frischobst selbst gemacht. Nach 5 Tagen Frühstück war der Obstkorb leer... Obwohl mehrere Gäste mit Hund da waren, musste ich mir jeden Morgen mein Gedeck für das Frühstück selbst organisieren...die Kaffeemaschine wurde nicht einmal geputzt..pfui Einzige positive Ausnahme war an einem Abend ein männlicher Kellner, der nach meiner Bestellung auch mal Wasser für den Hund brachte..

"Aanwezig voor de sport en een van Nederlands mooiste Trailrun evenementen."

De ligging tov de geweldige organisatie van de Vuurtorentrail.

Dat jullie ‘Fletcher’ niet een coulance hebben voor zo’n professionele organisatie als die van de Vuurtorentrail en 4ameland. Zij dragen ertoe bij dat jullie beide hotels veel boekingen hebben tijdens de sportevenementen en er wordt door jullie niets gesponsord. Als deelnemer reden om een volgende keer elders te boeken. Intens zuinig en vreemde manier van doen van de Fletcher groep.

De badkamer met verkalkte kranen, niet schone wc pot. Erg jammer dat receptiepersoneel voornamelijk enfels spreekt
