The Handforth Lodge

It was grim. In fact it was more like a non professional HMO.

The whole place needs renovating, updating, decorating, new furniture & new beds. The bed mattress had a sharp spring sticking through but the linen & towels were clean.

Location was very good for what I needed.

The constant smell of curry, I stayed in the seldom contained flat which backed onto the main kitchen.. the whole flat smelled of curry. I like a curry, but I don't want to wake up to it and have all my clothes need cleaning when I left. The reception staff struggled with English or we're just plain ignorant. The in flat power sorces came from extension leads dangling from the ceilings, the very small double bed only had a single quilt on it.. over all hated my stay here.

Opend sugars wrappers, half toilet roll, staff abrupt, main kitchen next to door, clanking at 5.20am we left at 6 , bed small springs felt, duvet was 4ft wide lay flat on bed not enough for 2 people, the reception area dirty when we arrived at 2pm in afternoon , only 3 coffee sachets no tea

Location, nice host. Up graded to en suite

Only had 1 cup, shower was not very gd. Weed nubs on radiator. Very run down everythin old.
