Location was fine no on suite and not really suitable for a disabled person. Our mistake. Perhaps it could be noted in brochure. Difficult to locate in the dark.

Lack of en suite made it difficult for elderly

The room and bathroom needed a major overhaul All furniture needs replacing

The staff where really nice and helpful, parking was excellent, rooms where cozy and communal bathrooms very clean.

They had a really lovely tropical fish tank in the reception, the fish looked happy but I dont think the light ever went off, when I came down at 2am in the morning the fish tank lights where still on really bright, fish like to rest so I recommend or wish they get a timer so the fish get to rest, I keep tropical fish and you dont want to keep the lights on more than 11/12 hrs a day.

Walls are a little thin so can hear noise but it’s an oldish building so what I expect. First night was loud, second was fine

Everything else. Room threadbare carpet, cheap old furnishings, lighting horrendous (actually have to unscrew the bulb on bedside lamp to switch it off as you can't get to the socket). Bathrooms, doors held together with masking tape, gaps enabling you to see anyone sat on the toilet or in the bath, no toilet roll. Opted to walk to next floor down to actually get a shower. Noisy on top floor, middle and bottom floors deathly quiet, especially when trying to find a member of staff. Had to sit on plastic chair in dining room for 15 - 20 minutes when I checked in whilst reception ran upstairs to actually sort my room out

Filthy, unhygienic bathroom, dirty room, broken furniture, wrong accommodation, not enough towels until requested, dirty glasses and in dire need of updating,
