Reykjavik4you Apartments

This was a perfect property, so close to shopping and so many restaurants. Easy pick up and drop off for tours at bus stops 2,3 and 6. Very clean and easy to access with a key code. Would def recommend!

Great experience, felt like I was local.

What a pleasant stay. Our flat had it all what was needed, space in spades, a nice kitchen (with a small terrace), great living room, a big bathroom, a room with a comfy bed. Everything was comfortable, and the location is great, better than we thought it would be. Close to the heart of touristic Reykjavik, with a supermarket just some meters away… Only drawbacks was that parking is quite small, just good for four cars -there’s a public parking quite close-, and that it’s got no elevator. We were on the fourth and last floor -third in reality, as ground floor is already named 1-, but that turned out to have a magical effect: on our first night, thanks to not having any more storeys above us, we unadvertily spotted big and wonderful northern lights in the night sky, something we wouldn’t have noticed if we didn’t have that terrace in the kitchen with nothing above us. So, magical stay here.

This place was really close to everything.

Pros: ==== Location is solid. It is within walking distance to Grocery stores ( "Kronan" is the closest, "Bonus" slightly further away). Close to Rainbow Street, restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself was clean and well kept. There are some parking spots within the property at its back on a first come first serve basis. There is a parking garage just few buildings away on the same street (Bergstaðastræti) on the same side of the street as the apartments. Cons: ==== There is no elevator. Also, the staircase is "circular" similar setup to lighthouse stairs where one side is narrow and the other side of each stair is wider. This makes hauling luggage problematic. In the apartment that we were, there was no dishwasher. There is a provision to store luggage in the basement, but anyone that can enter the building via keypad entry can also access the luggage store, so luggage security is not fool proof. There is no washer dryer in the apartments themselves or in any common area of the property. Tour operators will not pick up from this location, you will have to use Bus Stop #6 for pickup / drop-off. General notes w.r.t. KEF Intl Airport transfer: ================================== Either take bus (Greyline or Flybus by Reykjavik Excursions for ) which is also dropping/picking up at Bus Stop 6 for Reykjavik4you apartments. Or taking a cab ( Hreyfill or BSR Taxi etc) is also an option, but its not exactly cheap ( $150-ish minimum)

A well equipped spacious apartment. Home away from home. Excellent location in town. Supermarket just around the corner. Walked to attractions including theperlon and lava show

A truly incredible place to stay. Eveything was clean, the area is so safe, and everything was in walking range. So close to the Rainbow Road! I loved staying here.

Great location! Huge and spacious. Parking was a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. Walkable to everything and extremely clean. Way exceeded my expectations!

Would be nice to have luggage racks to place suitcase on, instead of floor
