The room was clean, pool area looked nice.

The resort specifically advised us prior to arrival that the accommodation was wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, while the unit was on the ground floor and a wheelchair could enter the living area, the bathroom, toilet and bedrooms were not accessible. The internal doorways were too narrow to accommodate a wheelchair. Having travelled more than five hours and with no suitable alternative accommodation available in the area, we had no practical option but to stay. The consequences were significant. The wheelchair user in our party was unable to independently access the toilet, shower or bedroom. We were forced to walk approximately 10 minutes to nearby accessible bathroom facilities and physically carry the wheelchair user from the lounge area into the bedroom due to the inaccessible layout. What was most disappointing was the response from management. Despite being made aware of the situation, there was no apparent concern for the impact on the guest affected, nor any acknowledgement of the dignity, independence and safety issues created by the lack of accessibility. We were told we could leave and receive a refund, despite there being no realistic alternative accommodation available after travelling such a long distance. Based on our experience, the property was happy to provide the assurances needed to secure the booking, but when those assurances proved inaccurate, there was little interest in the impact on the wheelchair user affected. This was not a minor inconvenience. A guest who had specifically sought and received assurances regarding accessibility was unable to access essential facilities within the accommodation. The experience was distressing, undignified and entirely avoidable had accurate information been provided before booking. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone requiring accessible accommodation to obtain detailed measurements and written confirmation of accessibility features before booking.

The resort is well laid out. The rooms are nice and spacious. It is in great walking distance to marina and nice and quiet.

We had 5 staying in the unit and the roll out bed in the 3rd bedroom was very uncomfortable but the other beds were great.
