Pepperclub Hotel

Everything at the PCH was excellent and the service is superb. Even extending my stay was processed effortlessly. What I like most is the variety of choice downstairs where you have a classy bar, a coffee and a restaurant to choose from for dining, having meetings and relaxing. I'll definitely come again.

The hotel has a great location and good breakfast. In particular I would like to acknowledge the Head Concierge, Ms Ndumie, she was very friendly and helpful to arrange a trip to the dunes for us and even checked on the weather that day. Setui the driver was also very helpful and friendly. Both were very helpful to return a lost cap to me, which I received all the way back in Singapore.

My wife and i stayed here 3 nights as part of our visit to South Africa and really enjoyed our stay.Staff were very friendly at all areas of hotel, at pool ,bar, restaurant and reception. Breakfast was very good with self serve section and also you could order food to your table.Our room had view to table mountain which was very nice. Hotel runs shuttle service to waterfront which was very handy.

I have attended various conferences at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the food is varied and delicious. However, in an age of eco consciousness, the plastic water bottles are an affront. Most conference venues have watering points and people fill up their glasses. The diligent staff cleared all empty or half empty bottles during the tea and lunch breaks. That is a lot of water which is being wasted. Also, disposable cups are not a solution to anything. Please find sustainable solutions to your conferences.

Purely a gem. I was concerned about staying in a hotel in the Bo Kaap area. Everything was terrific beginning with the staff that couldn’t do enough for us, the room was large and very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. The area was quite convenient for restaurants and activities. The area was quite safe for Cape Town. Breakfast was yummy. There’s also a shuttle to the V&A waterfront. We will be back soon!

This was part of a bigger African trip. The staff were excellent but the swimming pool couldn’t be used and our room overlooked a building site, so was very noisy during the day.

Fantastic hotel - we were blown away by the great food and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and the location was great. We also ordered room service which was super affordable and really delicious, overall amazing!

As a solo female traveler, my #1 priority is safety. I do my research - I wanted to see a lot of things around Cape Town. This seemed like the perfect spot, even though it is 1 block from Long Street. I liked that they offer a shuttle to V&A - it was great. They also have a shuttle to Camps Bay. The day I wanted to go to Camps Bay, I put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door & left. The shuttle was 20 mins late, so I decided to Uber & take the shuttle back from Camps Bay in the afternoon - I communicated this to the staff very clearly & it was understood that I would be coming back on the afternoon shuttle. The shuttle did not arrive at the pick up spot I was told to go to. After waiting 30 mins in a dark parking garage, I called & the Manager told me the driver didn't see anyone (I was 10 mins early for pickup) - the Manager told me in 3 follow-up calls that they were sending a car (different cars). Nothing ever came. Finally, I went to the curb and paid cash for a ride back to the hotel. Upon entering my room, I could see that someone had been in my room. The Manager said that didn't happen. When I pushed the issue, he showed me a line by line print-out of all the digital logged enters/exits from my room - many of which were from times that I was not even on the property (I showed him my Uber schedules). He had no explanation - he Gaslighted me like I just didn't remember, or as if I didn't know when I was at a restaurant having dinner. NO RESPONSIBILITY OR CONCERN. SO UNSAFE!
