Comfort Inn & Suites Franklin East

Nice and clean, very decent breakfast.

The elevator was making a lot of noise during the whole night which we couldn’t sleep. Made it very uncomfortable. Brought it up to the receptionist attention and she said that someone else had mentioned it before. Need a tech asap.

Breakfast was very good and staff was amazing. Room was clean but bed was not comfortable.

Breakfast was fine- food was well stocked and hot. Counters and tables were clean.

Upon arrival, my first impression of the hotel was very unprofessional. The staff were standing in the lobby area complaining about how understaffed and overworked they were. They greeted me politely, and then continued to complain right in front of me for the whole 5-10 minutes it took to check me in. They had to change rooms for me because the staff hadn't made it to the room assigned to me yet despite it being after 5:00pm. I entered the hotel room to find the soiled towels, mold was all along the tub walls, bathroom floors and ceiling, the floors of the whole room were so dirty I wouldn't let my kids walk around without shoes on, and the smell in the room was indescribable. Knowing they were having staffing troubles, I gave grace and went back out to the parking lot to retrieve another item from my vehicle rather than complain about the room. To my surprise, I see the same staff member complaining to yet another person about how understaffed and overworked they were. Needless to say, I was not impressed to see more yapping than working...

The first room 218 had the safety lock removed off the door. My second room 316 had hair on the toilet a dead small bug under the sheets, with a pee stain on mattress , toothpaste on the tub , and spit in the sink. Waiting on my refund we didn’t stay. It looks like I’ve been charged twice waiting a few days to make sure I get my money back correctly.

Rooms were nasty and unsafe without secure locks on doors .
