"Gorgeous, friendly boutique guest house, with BEST breakfast and breakfast room view"

Gorgeous space - cosy, oodles of character, fabulous decor. Utterly wonderful host - Jane - she could not have made us more welcome or minded us better. And her dog is adorable too:) The breakfast was - as per other reviews - to die for. Best I think I’ve ever had in a hotel:) The view was glorious, and you are near (by car) to other beautiful beaches for swimming / beach walks etc, plus close to the town by car. Absolutely fabulous gem of a place - stay there, you will NOT regret it. We will be back I hope:)

No food after 2pm and it is a bit far away from take ways / restaurants, supermarkets, by foot (ok by car).

I loved the "old fashioned" feel of this guesthouse, all the wood and quirky bits. I booked a single room with a balcony with a delightful view over Ballyholme bay. The breakfast was fab, especially the homemade granola and trimmings. Jane was very welcoming and helpful. I even enjoyed flicking through some of the Bangor history books!

Nothing (although maybe a coat hook or two in the room wouldn't go amiss!).
