Friendly hosts for whom guests are new friends, in a lovely 17c farm house. Great breakfasts and a stay we will be pleased to repeat

We needed an inexpensive place to stay when visiting family, and this was just right for that. The host kindly accommodated our dietary requirements and the breakfasts were really nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. There were very steep steps to get up to the rooms we had - they may have other rooms so worth asking if you have limited mobility - it wasn't a problem for us.

Very enjoyable stay . I thought it a wonderful old building, which I found tastefully and thoughtfully furnished. Very hospitable owners. Excellent value.

The property was full of character. The hosts were welcoming and helpful The property is also very well located for local sightseeing

Amazing farm house. So beautiful and quiet. Very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and you only had to ask for anything more. Car park was very secluded and you couldn’t wish for better hosts.

Very enjoyable and friendly stay, however, perhaps a warning about steep stairs would be useful as some may arrive and find these difficult.

Staff very helpful. Comfortable room. Lovely cooked breakfast. The room we had was up 2 sets of steep stairs nice enough for a couple of nights.

The owner was super-helpful. I arrived late after cycling from Essex (stayed the night in Oxford and cycled from there) and the owner was waiting for me on the road-side. Room was just what I needed and the bed was very comfortable. They even let me a borrow a usb plug. Breakfast was nice as well. Would recommend.
