The owner was extremely polite and helpful

A friendly family run small but very comfortable hotel. Proprietor was helpful and when seeing that my wife was disabled immediately offered to switch our room from 1st floor to ground floor.

It was disappointing that although there was an excellent large cold buffet from which to choose, there was no option to have a hot cooked breakfast,

Przemiłe powitanie gospodarza, krótkie zapoznanie i opowieść o obiekcie i okolicy. Przepiękny ogromny pokój z dużym łóżkiem. Pokój i łazienka lśniące czystością. W pokoju zestaw do parzenia kawy i herbaty a do tego ciasteczka. I tak jak w opisie czekoladki na powstanie na poduszkach 😀. Przemiłe. Śniadanie kontynentalne, przepyszne. Miła obsługa przy śniadaniu. Dziękujemy 😀

Very good

We overnighted at the Grovefield Manor as we had a meeting in Poole. It is a wonderful Victorian building with large, comfortable rooms located on a quiet road just a stone's throw from the beach. Car parking is available on site. Evening meals were not offered, but Just a couple of doors down is a pub serving good food. The patron and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

I was happy with breakfast, but my partner was disappointed that there was no cooked breakfast option. As there were only 3 people staying in early November I was not surprised. The breakfast time (to 9.30am) and check out time (10.30am) were rather early for a Sunday, not giving us much time for a walk on the beach before leaving. We were told we could leave our vehicles in the car park whilst having a walk but as we were on motorcycles we did not want to troop about in our motorcycling clothing.

Helpful staff, well appointed room, excellent level of cleanliness.
