The breakfast was delicious and staff were nice. The beds were comfy and I loved seeing their pet birds and dogs in the morning.

We had an issue where the door wouldn't lock and it seems that they've had problems with that room before. We were assured that it was safe but, we weren't comfortable staying in the room. It took about half an hour but eventually, they said we could go in a different room for the duration of our stay. Wasn't super impressed with the new room or the bathroom as there was mould in both (quite a lot above the shower). And the room had some cobwebs. But grateful we didn't have to find alternative accommodation!

Nice room, Gary is a friendly guy and choice between simple breakfast in-house or whatever you want at Walnut Grove restaurant (run by Gary’s wife Nicola - who is a lovely woman) is great.
