The property was beautiful, well furnished and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you would need for your stay. The honesty bar downstairs is incredible, well-stocked and reasonably priced. The breakfast was utterly delicious and well presented.

Visiting Hastings for the first time as an adult I found more to the place than a pebble beach, ice cream and noisy arcades. The old town remains astonishingly unravaged by development so life goes on much as it was from the 1400 – 1800s. The Laindons itself is comfortably renovated, very clean and managed by lovely hosts.
