Meadow Oak Accommodation

Great location. Central to where we wanted to visit Cornwall/Devon & not far from bus/train transport nodes. Close to Camel Trail - great that there are e-bikes to use. Handy to stores for food supplies. Well priced, cosy & clean accommodation with comfy beds. Quiet at night. Liked the communal atmosphere of the kitchen/dining areas & enjoyed the provided light breakfasts. Had the weather been kind, would have spent time in the well maintained garden area. Eric, the host, was incredibly welcoming & helpful.

Sehr netter hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Nettes Zimmer, für drei Personen allerdings recht eng. Teezubehör, Gläser, Tassen, Wasserkocher etc. im Zimmer. Alles sauber. Es gab zum Frühstück Müsli, Kaffee, Tee, Brot, Marmelade…, obwohl die Unterkunft das eigentlich nicht vorsieht. Wir durften in der Küche kochen. Sehr schöner Garten, in dem man sehr schön sitzen kann Whirlpool. Man hört abends die Nachtigall.

Liegt sehr nah an einer recht viel befahrenen Straße. Im Sommer wird es in den Dachzimmern sehr warm.

Clean environment, noise free, soft clean mattress, friendly staff-Mr Eric. I would be extending my stay. Initially paid for 5 days but I would be extending my stay by 15 more days.

I had to walk a little more before I could get a bus to my training venue. The bathroom was smaller than I thought but it's still fine.

Very clean and well resourced accommodation. Helpful and attentive host who looked after us. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and kitchen facilities

Very helpful owner who picked me up from the station which is 5 miles out of town! The rental includes a continental breakfast and ebikes so you can use local cycle paths

No overhead shower, only handheld- but a great massage bath!

This was not the room we stayed in, but the other room decor grey with the spa bath and white towels.. Our room was slightly bigger and very airy and bright. The room was clean with an extra single bed and a little area to make light refreshments. A welcome pack to Cornwall with things to do.. Bed sheets were clean and bed comfy as we slept well. The view of the hills over yonder from the back window overlooking side part of the garden was stunning, real meadow. I sat in the garden on a nice, sunny day, and it was so tranquil with the enclosed beautiful area. Would recommend staying as ideal to Bodmin Leisure Centre and a nice 20-minute walk or 5 min drive to Bodmin High Street in its good location. Our Host Eric was attentive and will keep in contact for future bookings.
