Norton House Hotel is everything you could wish for in a peaceful stay. The setting is incredibly tranquil, with a beautiful historic house, lovely gardens to relax in, and a calm, restful atmosphere throughout. The service was warm and welcoming, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and full of character. Breakfast was very tasty, and the gallery was a lovely added touch. It feels like the perfect place to unwind, slow down, and enjoy a peaceful break. A beautiful hotel with charm, comfort, and genuine serenity.

The rom was nice with great curtains, so I wasn’t woken up by the sun. There was a bath. The breakfast was very good and the host friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent for the areas visited. Staff (Craig) was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients. Bed was comfortable.

Disappointing that the room wasn't serviced daily with tea, coffee and biscuits replenished, bins emptied and the bed made. Overall the room and bathroom were clean (albeit with some cobwebs on the lightshades but it's an old property so this isn't unexpected). The decor was tired and would benefit from a facelift.

Craig was absolutely lovely. The room was fantastic and everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast set us up for the day and was well cooked. Room was beautiful and we really loved the artwork everywhere. Thank you for a delightful stay. When we come back to the Forge, we'll be sure to stay again. ☺️
