Laguna Hotel

Welcoming .good parking .dated Hotel. Like stepping back in 1970s but hood value for money .great location

Needed updating .very 70s old fashioned tired decor .great value for stop over one night

Outside space was ok

Really outdated

Free parking,pool but problem is becasue you have to go out to other building.

Room was small, bathroom is so small that you can't turn around even close the door.Floor creaks when you walk, ome or two nights it's ok but not for longer stay. Room was on 3th floor and there were too many turns like a maze to get to the room.

Clean and tidy

Stayed here several times and normally happy with the hotel. It's a bit dated, but this is to be expected and the staff and rooms are always nice.

This time however the main plug socket had part of it missing, the light fitting above the bed was broken and our door didn't latch shut. So I had to lock it for it to stay closed. First time I have had a room that felt like it needed repair and wasn't just dated.

Pool

Outdated and every time someone walked through the corridor, it creeped!! Bedding needed updating so does the whole hotel really?

The staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We also enjoyed that there was entertainment, a swimming pool with a jacuzzi, table tennis and a pool table.

It was very old-fashioned and wasn’t the cleanest. I had to ask a member of staff to come and clean the toilet before use.

It was very homey and although a bit outdated that didn’t bother us at all. Beds where comfortable and the pool was lovely 😊 so close to the town too with a short walk

The only thing I would say is the lady who does the swimming lessons she kept telling the kids in the pool to move into a small section of the pool because they were playing and splashing . The kids were just having fun! I think if you have lessons then block out time slots so it’s closed for others to use as it can ruin people who are staying at the hotel’s experience.
