Great location, friendly staff, clean and cosy room. Really comfy bed! Perfect for what we needed. Welcome folder had lots of helpful info about the area and the history of Folkestone was a nice touch. Had a drink downstairs before we went out and bar staff reminded us about the discount which we’d forgotten. All in all a very pleasant stay!

Nothing springs to mind other than we weren’t sure whether we could drink the tap water so perhaps add a little sentence in the welcome folder.

The beds were comfy, the family room was spacious.

They tried to give us rooms close, but someone has smoked in the other room, so they could only give another room far. The facilities was somewhat run down, like broken bathroom fixture, dripping water from the ceiling by the window waking my son up early.

Asked for bottom floor as I can't manage stairs very well and they put us at the very top so had 8 flights stairs ,to tackle, the room door was hanging off and the bathroom door only attached by one hindge the bathroom was so small I banged my elbows snd head going to the loo and i am only 5foot and size 8. The bathroom fan was so loud and rattled all night even with it turned off it was damp and cold never stay there again far to too much money for what we got .

The staff were very helpful indeed at check in. I left my charger and they promptly returned it. It is a really good value place to stay.
