The Swan Inn

We enjoyed every minute from we came into the Swan Inn until we left. The place is so friendly and you are made to feel at ease. Nothing is too much effort. Food,drink and service is great.

Can't really think of any way to improve.

Room was lovely and clean, had everything we needed. Nick was lovely, so helpful with any questions we had. Honestly couldn't fault it!

The room was large & spacious, the beds wonderful - thick mattress topper & new bedding.

The pub has been closed & was not opening till the next day. Road outside quite busy, but keeping windows closed kept the noise out.

Very clean room, with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and a lovely hot shower. Very close to the ferry so extremely convenient for early crossings to Ireland.

Unfortunately the owners had recently taken the business back from tenants who had not looked after the pub or the rooms to rent. Whilst they had obviously made a big effort to get a couple of rooms ready for guests, the pub was not open so the other advertised facilities were not available. We were offered a discount for food at one of their other pubs, which we gratefully took advantage of. We are sure that once the owners have made the necessary changes to the rest of the establishment, that ratings will be much better.

The staff were amazing and very attentive. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced I would definitely stay here again exceptional value for money.
