I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding my recent stay at Azaya Beach Resort, booked through Booking.com from 28th March to 31st March. I have lived in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand for many years, and recently moved to Dubai. Based on my past travel experiences, I chose your property expecting a high standard of hospitality. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. On the evening of 28th March, shortly after check-in, the entire property faced a complete outage — there was no water supply, no electricity, and no air conditioning. Despite waiting and even stepping out for several hours hoping the issue would be resolved, the situation remained unchanged even late at night. Due to these unacceptable conditions, especially considering I was traveling with my wife and young children, we were left with no option but to check out the same night and arrange alternative accommodation at our own cost. This situation caused significant inconvenience, distress, and additional financial burden. It is unacceptable for a premium resort to operate without basic utilities, and even more concerning that there was no proper communication or resolution provided. As of today, I have still not received any confirmation or timeline regarding my refund. I therefore request the following: 1. Full refund for the unused booking period 2. Compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused 3. Immediate clarification on the refund timeline I hope you will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and resolve it at the earliest.
