hormis que je n'avais pas de réseau avec mon téléphone portable, j'ai passé un excellent séjour. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Repas très bien. Petit déjeuner aussi (j'ai apprécié la confiture d'orange maison ni trop douce ni trop amère).

"A quiet hotel in the country...."

l'Abbaye was better than I expected after reading other reviews. It is a fairly modern building lacking rustic character, but it is well located in a quiet lane away from the main road. The staff are friendly, very efficient and generally speak English. Our room was a bit small with basic fittings but very clean. Wifi strength in the bedroom was poor and kept dropping out, but it's OK in the reception area. The restaurant is excellent and clearly popular with locals. The breakfast selection is also good - better than many similarly priced hotels. Overall, I liked this hotel and would happily return. Le Thoronet itself is somewhat limited and can be explored in 10 minutes, but its a well located base to explore the Region.
