Gardenia Hotel

Wir hatten im Juli 3 Nächte gebucht, und für 3 weitere verlängert, weil das Hotel phantastisch ist. Wir waren von der Herzlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft, Sauberkeit und direkte Lage am Meer mit dem Blick auf den Ätna begeistert. Wir genossen jeden einzelnen Tag und waren traurig, als der Urlaub zu Ende war. Wir vermissen die Zeit im Gardenia Hotel und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Tutto bellissimo sopratutto la posizione sul mare era comodissima. Staff molto brave,colazione buona pulizie buone.

Big surprise! Very nice hotel, 40 meters to the sea, just cross a narrow street and you are on a pebble beach. The sea is really clear, on the beach except for the weekend only a few locals. The hotel has a beautiful 10-meter long swimming pool on the roof with a terrace and a stunning view. You can park in the garage under the hotel for 5 EUR/night or on the street for free. The great face of the hotel is Mrs. Laura, who takes care of everything in the hotel and outside!! All living spaces are immaculately clean, you can't see that right away. Miss Julia is meticulous. We extended our stay here twice. I probably shouldn't write this, but the price of 100 EUR/night is incredibly favorable for guests :-))

The wifi is weak, it would be nice to improve it.

The staff were absolutely lovely, and the place was clean, but the facilities were a joke. The view from the room's balcony was divine, and it's opposite a pebble beach. The owner will also connect you with local taxis and restaurants.

The facilities were a joke. The breakfast was very sparse. You can't even get butter for your bread. If you want eggs, they will only be hard-boiled. The rooms don't have kettles, there is no A/C, and the swimming pool wasn't working.

End of season, pretty empty, breakfast reflected that.

The hotel was very nice and right across the street from the beach. Large bathroom with spa-like tub.There were only two restaurants close by.. Free parking was on the street.

The hotel was clean but the bedroom carpeting was a bit worn. I booked the hotel because there was supposed to be a restaurant and bar. There was no restaurant or bar as advertised. Had to ask them to make the air conditioning cooler as it was quite warm in the hotel.. Other than those couple of things, it was a pleasant stay. The pool was a nice addition although there was no one there. I had it to myself with a great view of the beach. Hotel seemed to have only a couple of patrons.
