Not a good way of wording that question! The young lad serving breakfast, was like a rabbit in head lights. Forgot a few things but happy to help to get everything that was asked.

"What a lovely and friendly place The Malt House is .. recommend 100%"

From the moment I phoned to inquire if we could all check in at different times and before the wedding we were attending , nothing seemed too much trouble for the efficient and friendly staff. All our rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable with plenty of coffee/tea and hot chocolate supplies. Friendly bar area in which we all met for drinks when we arrived. We came down to a nice full English breakfast and quality cafetières of coffee.

We arrived early in the morning to drop off one car, travelling together for the day. At first sight not a very impressive prospect. BUT that evening we found the welcome warm, the rooms comfortable and well equipped and the food both evening (grandchildren) and breakfast was excellent. Recommended.
