Inn by the Bandstand a Boutique Hotel

This Inn was by far a high point in my month long road trip through New England. The decor is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast they serve is amazing! A must see : )

We were looking for a quick get away and booked this place at the last minute- we were not disappointed. The inn was wonderful and our room had a warm romantic feel. Our host Augustino was welcoming and very helpful in making suggestions of where to go. We were greeted in the morning with very delicious breakfast and the restaurant next door- Otis - was wonderful as well. We also spent the day at the beach which was an easy 20 minute drive. The town itself is also very charming steeped in history and very well preserved . I would love to go back.

A superb place to stay if in the NH Seacoast area. The rooms are comfortable, and the premises are attended to with an eye for detail and care. The proprietor, Jamie, was incredibly gracious and friendly.

The whole experience was wonderful! The little town closes down pretty early. So we didn't get to shop. Ate a nice dinner at 19

Everything was perfect during our stay. The staff was amazing and the restaurant onsite a total surprise to the upside. Great stay and can wholeheartedly recommend with confidence. We will definitely return and stay longer.

My word! This place! I slept beside a converted Colonial kitchen fireplace in a four-poster bed while my son, dreaming on his next morning's interview at Exeter, slept in the adjoining room under a quilt. Jaime greeted us so warmly that my son (we are from the West Coast) said "How is it that people here are so kind?" My son is notoriously underdressed for cold, and refused to put on his gloves and scarf to walk out onto the black ice -- so our host, at the door, gave him HIS OWN scarf and gloves. The decor is enchanting, the atmosphere magical. My son said he wants to tell his friends to go to Exeter just so they can stay at The Inn By the Bandstand.

This inn ranks in the top three inns we have stayed at over the last twenty years. The innkeeper Jaime was the ultimate service provider when we stayed Jan 3 & 4 during the horrendous "snow bomb" storm that engulfed New England. Jaime moved our car for us during the storm!! and retrieved it and cleaned off the snow as we were ready to leave...while the temperature was around zero degrees. The interior of the inn is beautiful with outstanding antiques, art work, holiday decorations...in one word it was CLASSY. Also Jaime called all over town to find us a restaurant that delivered... because practically most were closed. The entire inn staff were pleasant, accomodating & top notch. The breakfasts were delicious and excellently prepared.We met several guests from Asia & other parents of students Exeter Academy, which is within a ten minute walk. The town is a small charming New England village with a myriad of boutique shops. My wife was gifted a bottle of French wine & cake by Jaime when he realized we were celebrating Claire's birthday. Just stop by the inn and you will also fall in love with it!

Beautiful rooms . Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Warm and comfortable. Wiuld recommend it to anyone. Would be back agai. Otis, the next door restaurant’s food was very very greasy. Too much butter in everything.
