Very friendly staff on arrival despite email to say reservation could not be guaranteed if late arrival despite hotel already being paid for.

Very tired looking hotel with lots of repairs needed and update to rooms needed. Rooms was clean but in need of repair. Socket off wall wires out, internal wooden doors didnt close, and wood had splintered/rotted. I feel for owner as you can tell there is still a lot of pride but it is definitely not 4 stars. Maybe 3 at a push. Most rooms were empty and I think it is largely now a rest stop for truck drivers.
