Erakor Island Resort & Spa

Beautiful island resort a short boat ride from the mainland. Boat was available 24/7, free. Comfortable room with balcony and steps to the water, nice beach next to restaurant, food was good and restaurants outside resort are close by via taxi. Great service, they have activities - the Melanesian Feast with entertainment and fire show was excellent, highly recommend it. Good breakfast too.

We loved our stay at Erakor.

We got a little upgrade without knowing so we stayed at a single villa suite. With out own deck, spa and sun lounges out our back door. Was blissful!

We had bought some fresh fruit at the local markets before coming to the island so a little bit more of a kitchenette would have been useful. Otherwise wouldn’t fault it!

Erakor Island Resort is in a beautiful, convenient location and provides a safe, family-friendly environment. Food was good though a bit expensive and not a lot of variety in the menu if you're staying for a week or more. Our room was excellent. Perfect location. Walk straight out the back door to snorkel off the beach. The little bar fridge was really cold and great for keeping chilled water on hand. Air con also worked well.

We were surprised that there's no phone in the rooms so arranging a porter or room service etc still requires the guest to walk to the resort reception or restaurant. Cleaning crew didn't replace glassware in the entire week we stayed despite making up the room multiple times. Ants were a problem for any food opened and not stored in the fridge. Water was also disconnected several times over the week to repair the water pipe. Not a huge problem but there was no warning. Communication could be better.

Staff such as Sarah with welcoming drinks at check in, Annie with flowers for your hair in the restaurant at breakfast, Joshua with the water sports and Fraser organizing events, all made our stay feel special.

Our stay was unfortunately shortly after the big earthquake, so there was still some problems with water pressure and communications, but it really wasn't a big deal. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

This was an absolutely life changing trip. I do not know where to begin, The resort, staff, location, facilities. Everything is above and beyond. I travelled alone with my 1.5 year old and I was so nervous to do so, it turned out to be the best trip and experience of my life and Erakor had so much to do with that. Easy to get to the mainland for day trips yet far enough away to feel like you are really in your own paradise away from it all. I am already planning my return

The location is absolute perfection. An island getaway without the fuss of the resorts. It was like camping but with air-conditioning and a few extra creature comforts. Very relaxing and the snorkelling and paddleboarding is the I've had.

A little more information at check-in would have been great. Remember to take the little paper receipt that the tour desk gives you if you book any outside tours.

We had the best time on Erakor, beautiful resort, and the staff were so friendly, would definitely return.

That it was seperate from mainland, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were sized well. The pool and the activities/themed parties at night was a hit for the kids. The availability of paddle boards, kayaks and snorkels were amazing. The food was good too

Need a more structure activity in kids club to engage the kids.
