Beautiful property

Unfortunate the restaurant was not open when we were there (which we were informed of ahead of time) - not a complaint just unfortunate timing. There is a lot of history at this property that would have been lovely to know.

The beautiful property, refreshing pool, and of course the incredible restaurant made this a spectacular stay! This property has the perfect mix of history, charm and also comfort. The evening dinner outside on patio will be a night my husband, daughter and I will remember for a lifetime. Truly lovely and special stay. Also, well located in quiet area that is quick drive for touring Amboise and surrounding region. Good recommendations provided by hotel staff for sightseeing.

One minor complaint was the service at breakfast. We arrived on the later side (slightly after 9) so it was probably better earlier. We had to ask for plates, glasses, eggs, and coffee even though there was staff present in the room. Seemed a contrast to the rest of the service and quality, especially for additional fee.
