Brookhaven House

Used this as my home base for 2 nights to explore Kerry, Skellig, Valentia island, etc., and it was perfect! Mary was a gracious host and gave good itinerary recommendations (they were all great!). The breakfast was very good and bed was comfortable. The building is showing a little age with creaky floors (adds to the charm, IMO), and you can hear some people in the hallways. All to be expected in a B&B. Not quite as much public space to hang out in, but the room was large so I enjoyed more privacy. I hope to stay here again and will recommend it highly to friends!

Mary was exceptionally nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. So incredibly quiet at night. Would highly recommend.

This B & B was beautiful, we'll cared for, and comfortable. Mary, the owner, was super. I had had an accident right before my trip which resulted in a bad back. She helped with luggage because her rooms were upstairs. The breakfast was wonderful. Besides a smorgasbord of food you can take right away they had a menu to choose from which they made to order. This trip was my first experience with B & Bs, and I absolutely love them. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Waterville, look no further then Brookhaven.

We enjoyed our stay. Our host was helpful although I wish she would have had us pay upon arrival instead of when we departed. I forgot that I didn't prepay as I did with other places on our trip. As a result we nearly forgot to pay before leaving. Give guests the option of doing it upon arrival.

Brookhaven House is welcoming and charming. Great location for golf. Owners were supremely helpful, even picking me up after my car slid off the road and finding me local service to tow me out. Despite the car trouble, my son and I had a terrific experience meeting some truly special people.

Very friendly and welcoming owners who provided us with a great recommendation for dinner at a local pub. The room was very spacious with a large and comfortable bed. The guest sitting room with fireplace is a great place to unwind both before and after heading out. A generous breakfast is provided in a beautiful room downstairs with breakfast cooked to order. Overall a great B&B which we recommend and would definitely stay at again.

Lovely little b&b on the outskirts of town. Rooms were clean and comfy and our hostess was beyond friendly and helpful. We had a room in front with a fantastic view.

Amazing stay! We were here for 2 nights and loved it. The owner is a super nice lady who really makes the stay that much better. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

We arrived at Brookhaven House just ahead of the annual Ring of Kerry charity ride, which trapped us for the morning in the immediate environs. This forced us to spend extra time on the northwest corner and on a neighboring ring- which ended up being fabulous! The home was clean and bright, the room spacious. We were greeted with coffee/tea and soda bread on arrival and served a very nice breakfast in the morning. However, the electricity went off for a few minutes, the wi-fi was a little spotty and the water temperature varied a lot. As with all other hotels and B&Bs on our trip to Ireland, the bedding was thick and fluffy, with no plain sheet of light blanket to accommodate a warmer night or "hot sleeper". The hostess is distressed by the short B&B season in Waterville and the bite that 3rd party bookings are taking away from her. Like many Irishmen, she wallowed in the negative while still being pleasant and accommodating.
