Hotel Kervansaray Canakkale - Special Class

Best things about this hotel is it's location and good breakfast. Try to get a room in the courtyard additions because there is no elevator inside the main building. Room was comfortable but wi-fi was slow (common issue at most turkish hotels). The ferry terminal is a 5 minutes walking and the Trojan horse statue a 8 minutes walk.

It is the best hotel in all Cannakale - in the center, 2 min from the seaside, 10 min to the swimming spots, surrounded with restaurants and bars but yet quiet, peaceful, with a fantastic yard, traditional interiors and 7-meter ceilings of the historical building - this hotel will definitely make your stay joyful and unique. Ataman and Emre - managers of the reception are one of the most educated, polite and helpful people in Turkey I have met.

Everything from staff to cleaners was great. I recommend this hotel to anyone who would love to stay in Çanakkale.

Otelin eski binasinda kalinca biraz konforu dusuk. Bir de cok yenilenmemis banyolar biraz eksik kalmış Oda temizligi orta sayilir. Kahvaltida cok sirada ve zengin değil

The hotel is well located in the main high street of the town surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, and with the harbour only a couple of minutes walk away. For students/budget travellers there is a very cheap restaurant opposite the hotel serving good homemade Turkish food. The hotel breakfast was decent with a fairly wide selection of foods. The room I had was a twin room - it was fairly small in size but certainly adequate for a short stay, and the bathroom was clean and modern. My only criticism of the room was that there was no fridge and there was a distinct lack of tea/coffee provided (1 tea bag and 2 sachets of coffee for the entre stay). The hotel itself has character and there is a nice courtyard connecting two buildings. Complimentary leaflets concerning the local area are available to take and there is a computer available to use for free. The hotel's check-in procedures could be improved. I checked in early (morning of the check-in day) but the night porter was not able to tell me whether this would cost extra. The next day I was asked to provide 80 lira for the early check in. Whilst this is understandable, ideally I should have been told what the cost would be in advance and all staff should be aware of the early-check in procedures. I have also never experienced this in any other location in Turkey; in other places where I have arrived early I have been invited to have breakfast for free and to check-in early without any additional cost.

Güzeldi. Kar yağışı olduğu için ilçeye dönemedim bir gece kaldım. Yataklar çok konforlu, arka tarafta sokağa bakan odadaydım. Merkezi olması dolayısıyla tercih ettim. Beğendim temizdi.

lumlu yanları resepsiyonda gündüz ve gecede duran arkadaşlar çok ilgililer ve kibar lar buraya kadar herşey normal gündüz giriş yaptık otele arka bahçeden geçerek girdik bir kapıdan kahvaltı yapılma yeriymiş inanılmaz kötü kokuyordu, ahşap çok eski merdivenlerden çıktık odamıza ulaştık çift kişilik oda çok küçük, kapıyı kilitleyeyim dedim ahşap eski arkası düğmeli kilit sistemli :( , üstünde de kapıyi yukarıdan aralamak için eski kilit sistemi var anlayacağıniz öksürük sesi bile duyuluyor, odada çift kişilik yatağın yastığa kafanız değecek yerde bir adet Priz bulunuyor dikkatinizi çekerim 1 adet sayıyla da 1, Aralık ortasında buz gibi Çanakkale havasında klima çalışıyor fakat kalorifer petekleri çalışmıyor, perdelerin arasından gözükebiliyorsunuz duş Vs aldıktan sonra ya da normalde, duş ve tuvalet birlikte olduğu için çok basık ve ufak duş alırken dikkat edin duşun kapısı yok ve yerler sırılsıklam oluyor, havalandırma yok, bir ceket asma vardı allahtan adı kervansaray ama ayakkabı çekeceği bile yok her dk aklınız odanizda ve eşyalarınizda kalıyor, ve dünyanın en büyük sürprizi 00:00den sonra otele geldiğimizde arka bahçede telefon ışığı ile odaların olduğu binayı bulmaya çalıştık bir tane lamba bile yok odaya giderken herşey çok vasat düzeyde diyebilirim ekmek ısıtıcısı bile şu ogrenci evine alınan bir avuç içi kadar olan elektrikli ısıtıcı şehir merkezinde olması haricinde hiçbir olumlu yanı yok ve fiyatı her yer ile aynı pişmanım kaldığım için parama acıdım.
