Fontainebleau Terrace by Counts-Oakes Resort Properties

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Fontaine Bleu. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Because the size of the hotel isn't huge, the beach was less crowded. We will book accommodations again.

Beware!!! This was the most terrible place my family has ever stayed at. The entire place needs up to date everything (from pots & pans to even the sign out front, what the hell!!!). The only good thing about this place is that it is on the beach. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The only thing that would make it a little better is if the WiFi would work in the rooms and not just the lobby. Other than that it is a great location and I enjoyed my stay there.

Room 602 defective lock on door. Had to call the main desk twice to get someone to come unlock the door, get us out of room. Took 2 days to get lock repaired. Elevator did not work most of 05/28 No chairs on balcony. No room service. Had to take out garbage, go to service desk to get linen, garbage bags. No internet service, told to go across the street to the do nut shop to try for service Gentlemen at service desk was rude. Room was clean, but outside area was not, poorly maintained, very few services available. Mold around pool area. We were there 4 days, the mat in the elevator was not changed. No ice service. Sinks stopped up in bathroom.

The Fontainbleau was fabulous. Our check in went very smoothly and we were allowed to check in early. We paid an extra fee and checked out late on our last day. It was worth it. Our "studio" was clean and comfortable. Even though we didn't use the kitchen this time, it was adequately furnished with cookware and dishes. There was a 32 flat screen tv with a dvd player. a nice bed and a sofa sleeper. The ocean view is spectaular, but there is really no place to sit outside your room, BUT, the roof top is basically untapped. You can go up to the 5th floor with your chairs and the roof is wide open on the ocean front, it even has old street lights that come on at dark. We had coffee up there every morning with a glorious beach breeze. Now the building is still being updated and the elevator was quirky, after all it was built around 50 years ago, but so was I. It is very 60's and has so much to offer, the location is great and the beach to the south is wide open for a longgggg way. Fun Land is still across the street for playing and of course it has a diner type restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner if you want. There is Alvins Island for shopping for the things you forgot to bring and souvenirs to take back home. All in all, we loved it and plan to go back all summer.

Enjoyed the hotel very much. It was close to every thing we wanted to do. All of the employees we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice had a great view of the gulf.

This was our first time at the motel and we had a wonderful time and we would love to go and vist again real soon. The lady at the desk was great and very friendly, She was very helpful and knowledgeable. We loved the location and the people were very nice. I would highly recommend this motel to others. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Not very satisfied. Room was not cleaned well and air conditioner nobs broken.

Room was clean and updated. The blinds were not tight, so we draped a towel over them. Not a real big deal. The hotel itself is dated, but the staff was very friendly. We would / will stay here again. The location, right on the beach, was great.
