"Magic at Gilbert's End Farm"

We love the quirky nature of the b&b portion. The true magic was the setting. Bird song and flitting about, the family dog, walks just outside the gate, ending with a double rainbow over the house on the last day. Magic.

I have no complaints!

"Homely and welcoming, peaceful stay"

A really peaceful place to stay. Chrissy was very helpful with any of our requests and is a lovely host. We had only booked the day before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large with a comfortable bed and small ensuite off it. At present, there is only one room being let out so there was no noise from other guests. If we need accommodation in this area again, we would definitely stay here.

It’s a shame that breakfast wasn’t included, but we were fully aware before we booked. However there is a fridge in the room and Chrissy provided milk on arrival, as well as fresh fruit, and a selection of coffees and teas. We bought cereal and pastries for breakfast. It is possible to get breakfast in nearby places too.

"Absolutely delightful."

The most beautiful house in the most idyllic setting. We’d travelled a long way for work and were very pleased to have a pot of tea and a cake in the beautiful and peaceful garden to unwind. The bed was so comfortable and the view in the morning was just perfect. The information book is actually helpful and the restaurant recommendations were spot on.

We didn’t see enough of the owners dog raffles but he did say hello briefly.
