È stata la mia prima volta a Villa Angela e non desidero parlare dei bei giardini che si vedono in foto, delle piscine termali, del sollevatore che delicatamente dalla mia sedia a rotelle mi accompagnava in acqua, né della struttura per me fruibile in tutti i suoi punti. Desidero invece parlare di quella "bolla di calore umano" che nessuna macchina fotografica può catturare e nella quale sono stata per tutto il tempo del mio soggiorno e che ancora avverto. Fluttuo in questa bolla come se fossi amorevolmente coccolata dai proprietari e da tutto il personale. Un grazie particolare ai Signori Giuseppe, Gino e Nello e alle gentilissime signore della reception. Viaggio spesso ma è stata la prima volta che ho ricevuto attenzioni tanto scrupolose. È stato bello e spero di poter tornare.

Hotel staff were excellent, couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Collected us from Forio port and dropped us off when we were ready to leave at the end of the week. Always at reception with a smile and a wave and ready to help with any recommendations we wanted. Thermal baths are about a 30 - 40 min walk away with a choice of ice cream, shops and restaurants to chose from on the same road, shops are close by, the town is around a 40 mins walk and there is a tiny little pizza shop 2 mins from the hotel. Buses are regular and easy to catch, can be busy and hot but really convenient. Sunsets in Forio are "chefs kiss"!! Choice of food was just right and the quality was lovely. The hotel is clean, the grounds are so pretty with lemon trees, flowers and charm, it was the perfect little Italian hotel I wanted our stay to have. We didnt want to come home and can't wait to return to this little gem!

The only thing we missed and is a minor, was probably a little coffee machine in our hotel room but this wasn't a make or break and didnt bother us. We had a fridge and just kept buying water to keep in there.

Facilities on site were excellent with easy access to pools, bars and restaurant. Wellness facilities were provided and these added another dimension to the property . Units cleaned first thing in the morning so that the room was ready after breakfast!

Perhaps tea/coffee facilities available?
