Tradition Julen Hotel

The breakfast staff are so delightful and we loved the excursion to see the famous sheep on the hote's farm!

The coffee is the morning needs work! It wasn't made clear that the farm excursion was not free for hotel guests -- still worth it, but should have been disclosed.

We loved the location, only a ten minute walk to all three points to access the ski slopes. Close walk to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

The pool was beautiful but needed to be a little warmer!

Not much to add that hasn’t already been said. Was like stepping into another world. Stayed 5-days, no ski-ing. Hotel met all my expectations. Took the half-board option, 5-course dinner menu was impeccable; can dine any time between 6 & 9pm, don’t have to give them a specific time, which i LOVED!! Had the Superior comfort room i think it was called, for the extra living area…didnt bother with Matterhorn view room (can see it everywhere you walk in town). Didnt use the pool or spa. Papperla bar across the street looks plain but it is a lot of fun!!

Great facilities and great breakfast. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating. The location is also walking distance yo the city center.

The Hotel Julen Tradition: Has comfortable, very clean rooms; Is centrally located near the old part of Zermatt, with easy walking access to the village and bus transport to lifts, especially Matterhorn Ski Paradise lift; The breakfast is excellent as is the dinner menu; The staff is courteous and knowledgeable .
