Eleni's Village Suites

We had to change dates last minute because we didn't realize that it took so much time and effort to tour the Greek islands. But, they were fine with us changing dates. I found the room to be very comfortable, the most comfortable in Europe during our stay. I was happy to sleep in an American style bed and shower with American style towels after so many nights in small beds with hard towels. The location is really out of the way, but the owner gave us some rides which we paid him for. I wa not interested in going ou late and being in the loud art of town, so the hotel was perfect for me.

Firstly, you do not get a hotel 'bedroom', you effectively get an apartment. Secondly, the quality and taste of every aspect of the interior is pleasingly superb. I travel a great deal and very rarely choose to comment (other than on occasion, negatively) but this is so good that I would wish to frecommend it to other travellers - you will not be disappointed - the owners REALLY know (and CARE) about what they provide -

As a young couple looking to spend a night outisde of the town of Mykonos, we were fully satisfied of this pretty hotel. We were in a well equiped appartment full of teddy bears, which could be spooky if you are not in them. The hotel is perfectly upkept and comfortable. Franklin, the chauffeur, was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of his way to satisfy us. However, the host, Stathi, was cold (at best). Maybe he was having a bad week but he did not appear to be suited for the hotel business. Bottom line is we recommend this hotel which is comfy and well situated if you want to steer away from the nightclubs and the noise. We really enjoyed our stay

I love to stay in Eleni's Village Suites. The room is very clean and tidy. The owner waited for us at the port and took us to the hotel efficiently. If you rent a car for a day, you really do not need to stay near the town. The taxi fare from the town to Eleni's Village is only Euro 5 per taxi ride and it took about 8 minutes ride from the town to the hotel. I definitely wish to stay in Eleni's village again when I visit Mikonos next time.
