"A peaceful hotel with a great quiet location out of town and pleasant rooms."

The hotel’s location is one of its best features. It sits just outside of town, making it peaceful and quiet, yet easy to reach by bike. We appreciated being able to store our bikes inside overnight. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with a reasonable range of options including croissants, cheese, meat, smoked salmon, yoghurt, and eggs. Dinner, which was included, offered a selection of meat, fish, potatoes, vegetables, and salad. We were also delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade to one with a sea-view balcony, which made our stay in October especially pleasant

On the downside, the hotel might feel a bit far if you’re on foot, as it’s outside the town centre. While the breakfast and dinner were good, they were quite basic and lacked variety. The Wellness Centre was underwhelming; the masseuse was unavailable, and apart from a small fitness area and a sauna, there wasn’t much else to use. Overall, the setting and room made the stay enjoyable, but the wellness facilities and dining could be improved.

"Room smelled"

Good position for us, out of town so quieter.

Our room smelled and we couldn’t get rid of the smell even though we left the window open all day. We didn’t ask for a change as we were only staying 2 nights.
