Victorian Bed & Breakfast

3月上旬に3泊しました。19世紀に建てられた建物で、暖房や人が歩くと建物のどこかで音が響き、床も板のきしみ具合が年代を味わえるワクワクしました。掃除もきれいにしてあり、いつもクラシック音楽が流れ、素敵な朝食をゆっくりと取りながら優雅な一時を過ごしました。一生忘れられない思い出になりました。

We stayed on the 3rd floor bedroom with porch area and shared bathroom. The room was clean and tidy with antique style furniture. The bed was so comfortable. The owner was very hospitable. She made a wonderful breakfast spread each morning. Parking was on the street, but there appeared to be no issues about space availability. It was a lovely experience, having normally stayed in hotels and met some interesting people who also stayed there.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und Danuta und ihr Team sind großartig. Das Frühstück ist grandios und es wurden die Wünsche aller Gäste berücksichtig und umgesetzt ( Milonen Unverträglichkeit). Wir wünschen Danuta eine gute Besserung und bedanken uns von Herzen für alles ( auch für das versenden unserer Postkarten die wir beim auschecken dort liegenlassen haben)!

Das Hotel ist echt super. Die Besitzerin ist eine ganz tolle Frau die sehr um das wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht ist. Das Frühstück ist wirklich super lecker und frisch. Für die USA in dieser Preisklasse sehr selten zu finden. New York ist eine tolle Stadt mit sehr netten Menschen die Stadt ist aber sehr teuer. Mit dem Bus( Bushaltestelle ist 2min zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt) fährt man direkt zur Staten Island Ferry die fährt stündlich nach Manhattan der Anblick der sich einem da bietet ist Atemberaubend bei Tag und auch bei Nacht. In dieser Stadt ist für jeden Charakter und jede Laune was geboten. Geht nicht Gibt's nicht!!! Unglaublich beeindruckend und sehr Interessant. .

滞在中、オーナーは私のママのようでした。帰国の朝、朝早いフライトなので朝食を食べないと言ったら時間に合わせて朝食を用意してくれました。とても優しいオーナーでした。タオル類も全て付いていてドライヤーも付いていました。スタテン島フェリー乗り場へのアクセスは、バスとタクシーがあります。フェリー乗降口から少し離れていますが静かでのんびり出来る、居心地の良いホテルです。帰国の日、寂しがる私をハグしてくれました。また訪れること間違いないです。

Excelente estancia. Trato muy especial de la propietaria. Desayuno extraordinario.

This 160 year old house on Staten Island is good value for money with great quality breakfasts. The fresh fruit salad was delicious, as was the wonderful fruit and nut toasted bread, and there was always plenty of choices to eat. Our room was at the top of the house, with a shared bathroom. We thought we had booked an ensuite, but as there was someone already in the 4th bedroom, we had to share. The house is quite creaky due to its age, and you can hear people coming and going. But it is much cheaper than staying in Manhattan, and there is easy access by bus to the free Staten Island ferry. The bed was comfortable and as the owner lives in the house next door, you get the use of the living room.

Great place to stay, very clean and spacious rooms. Host is the best, especially at breakfast. Area not the most affluent but the owner has not had a problem for 30 years, not to many places to eat, ideal place to stay if you have a car, other wise your on the bus.

We had a wonderful experience. The house is a beautiful old Victorian that has a fascinating history, retold by a very gracious hostess. Breakfast was sumptuous, and conversation was delightful. The room was very comfortable. There was no television in the room, but we came to appreciate its absence.
