Rustige uitleg en vriendelijke mensen

We mochten “gratis gebruik maken van het zwembad maar dat viel zo tegen, het water was koud en er zat heel veel chloor in, ook stok het erg naar chloor en schimmel, je kon niet naar buiten en bij de stoelen zat vieze schimmel op de vloer, erg vies en verouderd? Als je hier €10 pp voor moet betalen is het schandalig

Small hotel within a 5 minute walk of Mende, where there are plenty of places to eat.

Unfortunately, this hotel is in need of some TLC. Bedroom was just about big enough for the bed, tiny seperate toilet which was so small you couldn't really sit down and close the door comfortably. The bathroom vanity unit was also a bit worse for wear. Only coffee provided, no kettle or teabags, so not good for us as tea drinkers! Worst of all was that this hotel charges extra for a room with aircon and when we arrived and couldn't get the aircon to work, the person on reception told my husband that they didn't put the aircon on unless the temperature was 24°C or above and it only cools to 22°C......to save energy. I totally agree with not being wasteful but when I've been travelling on a motorbike all afternoon, in 28°C and have paid an extra £15 for a room with aircon, I expect to be able to use it!! When you book the room it does not tell you this. Not value for money I'm afraid. Wouldn't stay again.
