The view and location is truly worth the drive up the hill, there's a viewpoint nearby where you can go enjoy the views in the evening + see fireflies when it gets dark.

I think this place has the potential to be much more than it currently is, but right now I don’t feel it offers good value for money. Even with the discount we received, the budget room was still around $200 per night. The biggest issue is that the property needs renovation and more attention to detail to make the experience feel cosy, welcoming, and in line with its pricing. In our room, several things felt worn down or poorly maintained: the shower, doors that did not close properly, a broken mirror, a damaged bed runner, noise coming in from the rooms next door, no AC so expect bug bites from open windows, a bright blue light from the thermostat at night, and slow internet. The view from the pool is genuinely great, and it is definitely possible to take beautiful photos there. However, the pool area itself was a big letdown. The pool appeared to be plastic, the sunbeds were old and stained, and the outdoor shower had almost no water pressure. In general, the whole hotel feels like it lacks a designer’s touch and the level of care you would expect at this price point. The layout and placement of things felt random rather than thoughtfully planned. Another issue is the planning of the outside area. The views are one of the main reasons to stay here, but after around 7pm there is a chance you won’t be able to sit on the sunbeds and relax if the entire pool area has been reserved for private use. You can still go to the restaurant area without ordering anything, but it is much less comfortable. There are also sofas on the other side of the building, but from there you lose the view completely. After 11pm, pool area and restaurant is closed, there's no place to enjoy the view from outside. The staff were okay, friendly at times, but lacking consistency. E.g., one staff member told us we could go outside and relax in the pool area, but about an hour later another staff member told us we could not be there because the area had been reserved.
