This is a great place to stay for one night, and located close to the airport. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, cafes etc. all around. The rooms are tiny but clean, and didnt get too hot during the night. The bed was very soft. The showers were also very clean.

This place has no sound insulation, so when people talk in their rooms you hear everything they say. People arriving in the middle of the night will wake you up, because the doors close very loudly. The hotel breakfast across the street was not worth its price. When I went to eat around 7:30 the breads had gone stale, waffles and pancakes had dried up, the English breakfast was lukewarm. The selection is also quite small. But, the breakfast is not a part of room price (you can include it if you want to), so if you get up later you have more options.

A convenient stay for the airport. The place is owned and run by the Keflavik Hotel next door - friendly staff at the reception of the posh hotel and not at all snooty about us weary travellers checking in at their cheaper sister property! The beds were comfy and the shower was gorgeous. Plenty of storage space. Easy walk to find food / walk along the harbour.

The thermostat displayed 24.5C and I couldn't turn it down. The hesting us underfloor heating, which would be nice if you were able to control it! The window was stiff but we managed to open it in the end. Be aware that the 'kitchen' is a toaster, toastie-grill, microwave and kettle in the hallway. Not an issue, just good to know what the facilities are. Due to proximity to the airport, bear in mind that people may be arriving in the middle of the night - I had a disturbed night's sleep them we probably woke our neighbours up at 5am!
