B&B Tana della Volpe

My wife and I had a great stay at this B&B. We were treated very warmly by the owner who went out of her way to help us solve an issue with our baggage. The owner speaks excellent English. We had stayed at an upscale nearby hotel previously but felt much more comfortable and welcome in this B & B. The view is also really nice outside of the house and the garden is beautiful. If you are interested in visiting Ispra, I give this accommodation my strongest recommendation.

Verständigung auf Deutsch kaum möglich. TV-kein deutscher Empfang. Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Das Apartment ist super gelegen mit tollen Blick auf den See.

Essendo arrivati in largo anticipo, rispetto all'orario per il ceck-in, ho apprezzato molto, che la proprietaria dell'hotel, con molta gentilezza, ci abbia comunque ricevuti, e sistemati. Hotel sicuramente da consigliare!

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage. Herrlicher Garten mit schönem Blick auf den See inmitten einer tollen Natur. Vor allem: Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Très bonne prestation, belle situation et jolie vue sur le lac ! Calme et très agréable !

En general tres bien, le proprietaire est gentil, aucun souci. La seule chose est que on a pas trop de privacy a' cause de la proximite' des chambres et l'utilisation de la cuisine en commun. Mais sinon, c'etait tres bien, avec une tres belle vue sur le Lac Maggiore.

This B&B, in the small town of Ispra on the shore of Lago Maggiore, is a lovely place to stay, with very friendly proprietors (who do speak excellent English). Ask for the “Room with a View” and a spectacular view (weather permitting!) it is. This room, while small, has an adjacent bathroom, and is light and airy with big picture windows looking out on the lake and garden of the property. The room has a lockable door leading to a small kitchen (which is shared with the other room for let downstairs). In the kitchen, you find ample breakfast supplies (coffee, tea, juice, water, bread for toast, fruit, etc.) and a great espresso machine and microwave. Internet is free and the connection is fast. Overall, a great place to stay, and close to the Ispra research complex.

The owner gave a few advices, one for a nice walk near the lake, and another one about a pizza place. Both places were great, specially the pizza place which is highly recommended. Thanks a lot for a wonderful staying, Giovanni Noa & Shiran
