Rossmount Inn

Excellent choice for an overnight stay. We would be happy to return. Staff was friendly, place was clean and in good repair and breakfast was good. As has been said before, if you have a hard time using stairs, this would not be a good choice for you. One small thing, it would have been nice to have two tiny soap bars, one for the shower and one for the sink instead of one bar and one very small tube of shower liquid soap.

A real gem of an hotel - antique furniture all around the wide sitting area on all the floors. Personel was very friendly and very helpful.

Five night stay, beautiful summer weather, short drive to town, friendly staff, fantstic restaurant!

I tried to love the Rossmount Inn, but the room got in the way. The location,although not in the town of St. Andrews, was only a short drive to town and to Minister's Island. The grounds,including the pool area, were lovely. The inn itself hinted of past grandeur, with a wonderful restaurant and comfy bar. However the room was not only tiny, but lacked standard comforts. The table side lamp was burnt out, the only way we could adjust the fan and its light was by standing on the bed, and there was no phone or pen and paper in the room. Also no in-room coffee. So beware, or ask to see the room before your stay.

We loved the Rossmount where we were for just one night, arriving late afternoon into a most comfortable room, one of only 18. We enjoyed a drink by the pool before dinner and then were blown away by an exquisite meal. Much of the produce and flowers originated from the garden on premises which is open for guests to wander through. This was truly a wonderful experience!

Will definitely stay here again...service was awesome...very clean...food was excellent...best in the Province...quiet and relaxing, just what we needed.

Lovely and unique hotel near St. Andrews. Be sure to make reservations for dinner. One of the best meals we've ever had.

Returning for a night of fine food and a comfortable bed is my idea of heaven. The rooms are comfortable, the view out the window can be the swimming pool with tree lined hill, the water or the side yard, grass, trees and sky. The food at the Rossmount is outstanding and Chris never fails to offer a menu that offers outstanding choices, but which one this time? The BEST!
