"Magic in the forest"

I had a one-night stay here and really enjoyed it. I had the hotel 3 course dinner which was very good. Small boutique hotel vibes. The sounds of the monkeys howling nearby in the early morning was an experience

3- Gänge Menü war sehr gut, Preis Leistung Top! Aussicht, Lage sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich. Lage und Pool sind im Sommer sehr viel besser nutzbar, als im Winter. Ich würde nicht in der Wintersaison buchen, da man es nicht so genießen kann. Aber die Heizdecken waren ein Traum!

Anfänglich braunes Wasser, Personal vergesslich, Wäsche Service 100 Rand teurer als gesagt.

Beautiful setting but a bit out the way, that’s the compromise.

The pool is beautiful but not heated so unusable in winter. The spa is nice but the additional cost to use the jacuzzi and sauna is very expensive so we gave it a miss, which is a same.

A true hidden gem in the forest. We had a wonderful stay — the room was beautiful, dinner was carefully prepared, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A magical and peaceful experience.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Dinner was a good home cooked meal as promised. Location is special!

We were disappointed to find that our room was smaller than expected but it was sufficient. We made a last minute booking. There are no blinds or curtains and clearly there is an issue with privacy. Our TV set was not working and had to be replaced the following day and still had issues. It is a limited DSTV decoder. Apparently it was because the kettle was placed under the TV and it was believed that steam was the problem. Well then move the coffee station instead of placing the kettle on the floor to try and prevent this. Our electric blanket was faulty and only 1 side was in working condition. This was replaced after mentioning that. The room and lounge was freezing cold but it was a particularly cold weekend but we had to request a fire. It should’ve been lit before to try and warm the space. Underfloor heating did not work.
