Hotel Rumi Punku

The staff were excellent and always helpful. Leni at the desk was particularly helpful with travel advice and getting us a driver. The breakfast was great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

It was beautiful! A bit of a hike up the steep hill but well worth it!

We stayed at the Hotel Rumi Punku in Cusco for five nights and had a lovely, authentic stay overall. The hotel is perfectly situated in the historic centre, just a short walk from the Plaza de Armas, and immediately exudes a very special colonial charm. The entire complex is lovingly designed – with courtyards, terraces and plenty of charm, giving the hotel the feel of a quiet, almost hidden oasis in the heart of the city. The rooms are clean, cosy and furnished in a rustic style. The comfortable beds and the peaceful atmosphere, despite the central location, were particularly pleasant. The breakfast was really very good – fresh, varied and a perfect start to the day. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful and very attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only minor drawbacks are the slightly dated furnishings and occasional noises in the building, though these are in keeping with the historic character. The property is so cute and in such good location for Cusco. We checked in and out 3 times due to day tours and doing the Inca trail and everytime the staff were so helpful and friendly to us. Nothing was ever too much to ask. From the day we arrived at 2am the man on reception gave us a good introduction regardless of the time. Breakfast included was continental but exactly what you needed with eggs to order was a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and clean. They helped us with organising taxis to the airport, sorting out laundry post trek, sending post cards - everything!!! They are so kind and we loved our stay. Such good value for money!!! Thank you!
