Staff were awesome

Very convenient. Some renovations were being made to our home, so it was nice to get away from the construction noise and workmen going in and out of the house.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful ! I live at the beach but my family lives in Winston Salem but everytime I come to visit I stay here and it's always so great ! The beds are awesome and comfy and everything is always clean but the very best part is the indoor pool with waterslides and a hot tub ! There are so many hotels closer to where my family lives but this place is always worth the extra driving I have to do in order to stay here . Also it's so hard to find a hotel close to Winston Salem that isn't a " trap" hotel ( aka druggies and hood ) but this place has always been free of all that u don't feel nervous about leaving your car unlocked or walking outside for something.i really do love this hotel

I TRULY can't think of a single thing that I didn't like ( Iv been here at least 5 times ) and nothing comes to mind about any of those times

I have tried to like this hotel as it is quiet, clean, and in a good location for me when traveling on business. But time to find another place. Clean, but carpet and some furniture is a bit dated in places. Annoyed that the shower dripped all night. And not sure what is up with the sheet. On my king bed the sheet was stretched to the max and struggled to cover just the top edge of the mattress. Needless to say, the first time you roll over the sheet pops off of the corners and you just have a loose sheet under you all night. But the biggest thing was check in. I stay at Hilton properties all the time and enjoy checking in online, having the digital key on my phone, and being able to go straight to my room without having to deal with the front desk. Not here. Kept getting a message that online check in was down and needed to stop at the front desk. I know that wasn’t a Hilton issue as I had already checked in online for another hotel for tomorrow. Then once I got to front desk I had to present my ID and card for payment even though all of that is in the system. Have seen a couple other hotels do this and I cross them off of the list of places I will stay. This property now goes on that list.

Staff changed our room from king to a double bed. The room was filthy. I spoke with management the next morning. They promised to come in and clean while we were out for the day. When we arrived back our room was in the same condition as we left it. Beds not made. Nothing. This is honestly the worst Hilton property I’ve ever seen in my 40 plus years on this planet. Just terrible.
