We’ve been coming to Villaconcha for family holidays for five years. We absolutely love it. It’s a home away from home. The staff have always been exceptionally friendly and warm to the point that they feel like friends now.

The only downside is that the aircon doesn’t come on until later in the year. In April it feels warm enough for us to need it and we don’t sleep well. We also have found that BBQ night used to be once per week. But it’s gone up to three times a week which is a bit too much. The food is always fantastic and a great choice. BBQ night food isn’t of the same good quality - the meat is not of the same good quality as on normal nights when they cook fresh meat. Appreciate that the chef’s work hard and this is probably beyond their control and due to budget constraints. A side note - it’s a sports resort which we love as we are always active and do triathlons. But when large training groups arrive, some of them tend to take over, are rude (foul language) and are unaware that it’s a family resort with children about. They can also tend to be very pushy and rude at the buffet.
