Clean, lovely, and happy in this hotel . Everything was good and the stuff very professional

I have stayed here before -- modern, trendy hotel just over the hill from the Schuman Metro station in the heart of the EU area. It is actually just adjacent to the Leopold park and gardens. The hotel has many large rooms (8 floors) with all the amenities. Excellent, friendly staff. I was there when the EU was out of session and it was GREAT. The breakfast buffet is in the lobby and was good, not overwhelming, with two good coffee machines. The hotel was not busy but I imagine that the breakfast gets hectic if the hotel is full. There is a grocery nearby and lots of bars and restaurants back near the metro station. Easy to get around on foot but at least 20 minutes to tourist area. The metro is a good way to get back to hotel from anywhere in the city.

This is a great location in Brussels. The Schuman Metro station is literally minutes away and the bus stops are very nearby as well. I like to stay here because it's walking distance to a frequent meeting location and I can hop on the Metro to get to the office. But beware--this location is hugely popular because it is the closest in proximity to the EU governmental offices, which are also at Schuman. In say 3 out of 5 stays, they have closed down all the streets around this hotel because there was a Summit or a visit from the U.S. President or other major dignitary. They shut down the Metro stations, and they won't even let you walk through the Schuman round about, which means no easy access to the bus lines on the opposite side of Schuman. This means big detours, no nearby access to the Metro stations, difficulty for cabs to get to you, and a host of other issues. In two of my stays, there was a huge military vehicle parked outside the front door with armed military there. The benefits of the convenient location go right out the window and instead it becomes a hassle. Yes, it's all to keep you safe and the government safe, given the bombings that have occurred, so no complaints about having to deal with this. But it is important to check the European Commission calendars before you book, or you'll be doing a lot of walking, not to mention paying exorbitant nightly rates at this hotel. Tourist travelers should stay near the Grand Place, not here.

Big and clean room and nice staff

The room we stayed in was amazing and very modern. The cleaning service was excellent and I liked how you got a voucher if you didn’t have your room cleaned that day. Staff are super nice and they have Apple Macs and a gym too! Defo worth a stay!

Clean and modern building at a great location. The WXYZ lounge is a comfortable place to hang out. Laundry facilities are a big plus. Grocery store and bike rentals across the street with a Metro station within about 5-10 minutes walk.

I needed a hotel in European Quarter. Aloft Brussels Schuman was very comfortable and cozy. I liked the bar and the brekfast. I have stayed in several hotels in Brussels. This one is the best. Hope to come back next year.

Aloft introduced better choice of breakfast and that I appreciate a lot. Still needs to improve, but this the right direction. And Mojito is absolutely amazing
