Damp musty smell in the room.

Extremely clean and well maintained room !

Everything was perfect

The room was very clean. Bathroom had been newly renovated and was very nice. The pillows could have been better but overall a pleasant experience

It was a little tricky getting to it. The drive is easy to miss. The room was clean. The bed frame underneath is made of metal box. Getting in and out of bed would make noses. Waking my wife at times. The shampoo provided was in little packets that were nearly impossible to tear open. Especially once your hands are wet. The AC worked great, besides the noise the bed was comfortable. The location is good being close to stores and restaurants. Good price for a clean room and good shower. Far enough from town and highway for a quiet night.

This motel is a work in progress. We had room 44 and the bathroom, the AC and the fridge were new. The fridge was spacious with a freezer section. The room was quiet enough especially given the eye level view of rt50. The owner was friendly, courteous and asked us our expert opinion on future remodels. It is an older motel and that isn't overlooked but the room was clean, the bed new, the linens clean and nothing was in disrepair, per se.thete was even a special towel labeled for use on shoes or cars. Only complaint was that the WiFi in our room was dialup speed. We stayed two nights and would stay again. Owner told us many guests smoke in non smoking rooms or bring unauthorized pets. Let's not do that, ok fellow travelers? It makes costs go up and makes hotel staff and owners into unpleasant folks. These guys are doing a great job with limited resources so let's all act like civilized humans who are in this together!

With Athens' hotels all booked or grossly overpriced, I was relieved to find this hotel option just outside of town. A 2-night stay revealed a mix of good and bad. Pros: My well sized room was adequately clean, bug free, and had a mix of nice vs basic room decor. It included a fridge, microwave, office desk, sitting chair, convenient luggage space, good bed & bedding, iron, board, and hair dryer. The ac worked well and upon request I was provide a good portable heater for the chilly nights. Cons: The highway noise was obtrusively loud without the ac/fan unit on, the room carpet dirty and stained, the outside walkway of unfinished boards ugly, and the internet unworkable in my 2nd floor room. Overall, the place isn't up to par with the Quality Inn in downtown Athens but it is cheaper. In my view, it should be a 3 star hotel, but the poor wifi knocks it down a point. It's an unnecessary, significant, fixable problem of too few routers not providing a signal to all of the rooms.
