Silver Spur Motel

The people there were so very nice and it was very wuiet

It was not very well maintained. There was a huge crevasse in the parking lot right next to our room and parking space. There was mold around our shower drain. There were insufficient seating. Only 1 chair in our room booked for 2 guest. Insufficient pillows and towels. While we were away from our room the second day someone was in our room but all they did was turn off the air-conditioner and move a suitcase from one side of the room to another. Whoever it was did not make the bed or replace towels. We will not stay there again.

The listing on Travelocity does not say no pets. When we arrived the front desk person was extremely rude about it and said Travelocity would charge me a fee. Then Travelocity told me the property owner was charging a fee. I never would have booked if the listing clearly stated no pets allowed but it does not. The property blamed Travelocity and Travelocity planes the property. Travelocity said they would follow up with me and they did not. Terrible experience on both of their accounts.

The owner was an b hole the property smelt like the owner. The rooms stink and had bugs you can tell this man cares very little about the customers and customers experience he wants you to pay money and leave. I got a room and didn’t even stay.. I have stayed in nicer homeless shelters than this dump. I won’t even give this room away to someone. Mike you suck do better!

The Silver Spur. It’s just an old property and it is run down. Not sure how to improve it without starting over.

Decent little motel, not modern and could use some updating. Our mini fridge leaked water all over the counter. The curbs are also very tall and parking lot has some pot holes. Beds were comfy and everything worked.

When checking in, the reservation appeared to be for 1 night, but my Expedia confirmation showed it was for 2 nights. The attendant corrected the reservation to two nights so there was no issue. We booked a room with a queen bed but the bed we got was definitely smaller. Not sure if this is an issue with the property or Expedia. Other than that, great price and location, definitely recommend.

This is a very old motel that could use some renovations. It was very clean and the staff was very nice to deal with. I stayed there for three days. I liked that it wasn't expensive like some of the other hotels in the area. I only needed it as a place to sleep. One additional thing the room needed was more lighting. Overall, I liked the staff and I would stay there again. I liked that it had a microwave and small fridge.
