We always enjoy staying at Vaquera House. One of our favorite aspects has been the breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately on this visit the breakfast had gone notably downhill. While they had the same menu as before the quality of the main food dishes was notably less than before. As a result we ended up eating out for breakfast after our first meal. Hopefully the quality gets back up to before as it used to be delicious

Nice location. Friendly staff. Views are not great - we have been placed twice in a room that looks out into the neighboring building that is very close to the property. Nice showers but no bathtub. Coffee in unit but no creamer. S'mores are a nice touch. Hot tub was lukewarm and closed earlier than ideal. But a nice option for crested butte

Fresh cooked breakfast to order was outstanding. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Facility was beautiful, clean, bright, and comfortable. Location was so convenient to walking or bicycling anywhere in town. Also, so many added unexpected touches.

I liked having a refrigerator in the room. A microwave as well would have been a nice feature.
