The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a family. Parking was close to the room which made unloading luggage easy, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

The room was a bit small, and the bathroom door couldn’t be locked.

"A perfect place to stay rain or shine."

Radfords on the Lake was the perfect place to be when the weather turned bad and I had two full days of rain! Kerri, the wonderful host, couldn’t have been more helpful with ideas for rainy-day activities. She even lent me a book by a local author, which I spent a cozy day reading in the comfy armchair. I enjoyed it so much I ended up tracking down the author and her little bookshop in Manapouri! Radfords is perfectly located, with beautiful lake views and just a short walk into town. The bed felt so luxurious with its sumptuous linens, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a welcome touch. The kitchenette was also ideal, complete with a Nespresso machine and a two-burner cooktop. I would highly recommend Radfords on the Lake to anyone spending time in Te Anau, a truly wonderful stay, even in the rain!
