We arrived just after a small rainshower and the whole environment smelled like lemon- and orange trees. The village is great with shops a great bakery and some foodplaces. The balcony was wonderful with a great view towards the sea and orange trees. Christina was very welcoming but you have to communicate through the app unless you speak greek. The room was also very cool in relation to the outside, even without airco.

The room is very basic, with a small kitchen and a basic shower setup. The neighbours are closeby on the next balcony, and that is less great when they smoke. Finally the road towards the sea is more busy than you'd think, so we had some traffic noise that does break the otherwise very peaceful stay.

The apartment is situated in a solid location, conveniently accessible and close to key amenities, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The hosts were decent, though not overly attentive. Communication was adequate, but their response to issues left room for improvement. The apartment itself is functional but in desperate need of a major update and renovation. It feels dated, and the wear and tear of the old building is evident throughout the space.

We frequently encountered cockroaches, which seems typical for older properties but was still unpleasant and concerning for hygiene. A significant problem was the minor electrical shocks from the tap in the shower cabin. This was reported to the landlady, who promptly called an electrician. The landlady and the electrician talked in Greek, so I was not aware of what the issue was. I was told to report again if the issue persists. However, despite reporting the issue again the next day, the landlady promised another visit from the electrician, who never arrived. As a result, we had to take extreme caution while showering, avoiding contact with the tap to prevent shocks, which made the experience stressful and inconvenient.
