The Sea Lynn

Very clean and inviting. Everything I needed, including somewhere to hang my clothes and lots of tea and coffee. Also being on my own it felt very secure.

The shower controls seemed to be reversed and the shower curtain could be made smaller as was double and was a bit bulky!

The location is fantastic within Morecambe and you're also close to Manchester. The room was perfectly serviceable and generously provided snacks for us and small fridge. The shared kitchen was equally nice and worked out quite well.

This was my first visit to Morecambe the location was good and the hotel was excellent

There was nothing I didn't like

Good location in a nice part of Morecambe, a short walk to the sea front, supermarkets, railway station and the town centre. Room very clean, nice shower with gel provided. Good hospitality tray, plenty of little milks, tea bags etc., even a cake, chocolate and a bottle of water. Self check-in easy to follow from text instructions. There was a communal kitchen but as my room was on the top floor I didn't make use of it.

No hangers in room, only a few hooks. No towel rail in bathroom. TV in an odd position, could not watch it from the bed. A tilting/swing bracket mount would improve this instead of the one fixed flat to the wall. However the main thing that sadly let the whole experience down was the lumpy, worn out mattress. Ironically it seemed just like the one from the hotel across the road, that I avoided this time for that very reason. Could feel the springs bulging through with my hands, it desperately needs replacing. I don't know which rooms the reviewers who mention comfortable beds had, but it certainly wasn't the case with mine. Having a back problem I couldn't have slept in the bed so had to lie on top of the duvet, which helped a bit, and bought a sheet to cover myself with. However lovely a property is, if you can't get a good night's sleep it's a non starter. Sorry.

Very clean everywhere and decent kitchen with fridge.

Pillows not very comfortable and ground floor single room very small. Also noisy neighbour playing TV at top volume!

Good position, short walk to railway station, shops and seconds from bay. Bus stop 2 mins . Very clean and comfortable, well equipped.hosts upgraded me to bigger room .

Older house so some noise issues a couple of nights with next door inconsiderate guests but to be expected and didn't detract from good experience.
